The Queensway
Welcome to Etobicoke’s signature community. Families love The Queensway because of its convenient location and the abundance of recreational opportunities, from South Humber Park to the Humber Marshes and the Martin Goodman Trail—which links to the Lake Ontario waterfront. Queensway Park features a baseball diamond, two tennis courts and a children’s playground. Woodford Park is situated next to the Mimico Creek and includes a baseball diamond, a children’s playground and two tennis courts. Residents are also close to plenty of shopping and retail amenities.
The majority of houses in The Queensway are 2-bed brick bungalows and 1.5 storey homes built in the ‘40s and ‘50s. These homes are on generous lots with private driveways and garages. There are also a multitude of multiplex rental properties and modern townhomes.

Sunnylea
An idyllic neighbourhood popular with young families, Sunnylea exudes country charm with traffic calmed, tree-lined streets. It’s bordered by Humber River and Mimico Creek, bringing a sense of serenity to the neighbourhood. Sunnylea is a favourite for families as it’s known for top schools.
Popular shopping districts along Bloor Street West are decorated with cast iron street lamps, manicured landscaping, and comfortable park benches, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Here you’ll find everything from high-end fashion shops, children’s stores, and book shops, to specialty stores, upscale restaurants, produce markets, bakeries, and cafes. Sunnylea Park, Laura Hill Park, and Spring Garden Park are great for families to enjoy a sunny day, as they feature tennis courts and playgrounds.
The real estate here includes a handful of restored original homes as well as detached bungalow, split-level, 1.5 and 2-storey houses built mostly in the ‘40s and ‘50s. These mid-century builds are generally situated on 30-foot frontages and feature a private driveway.
Mimico
The gateway to Toronto’s west-end waterfront neighbourhoods. Mimico is an established community well-known for its scenic lakefront parks and excellent recreational facilities. There is a strong community spirit here and several community events held throughout the year. The Lakeshore Community Festival and the Etobicoke-Lakeshore Christmas Parade, as well as the Mimico Festival are annual favourites.
Shopping districts along Lake Shore Boulevard and Royal York Road feature a variety of locally owned stores and restaurants catering to local residents. Mimico Waterfront Park features a boardwalk and a multi-use trail. Mimico Arena, The MasterCard Centre For Hockey Excellence (The Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Marlies practice facility), The Mimico Cruising Club, Etobicoke Yacht Club and Humber College Sailing School are great amenities for active residents.
Real estate in Mimico includes pockets of charming older houses, cozy bungalows, custom infill homes, renovated 2-storey homes, and a number of new townhouse and condo communities. There are plenty of low-rise rental apartments along the lakeshore.
